Social Service of Kindness 2020
ARK launched a new event this year at Educational Park Library-- students came together to write encouraging cards for hospital patients! In addition to munching on various snacks brought by participants, a friendly competition ensued. ARKers were encouraged to design as many cards as possible to bring light into the lives of hospital patients!
The cards had some wonderful puns and illustrations in them! After getting our creative juices flowing and bonding together, we watched a Japanese animation called Your Name. The ending really got us, but we still left with smiles on their faces.
Remember that kind words can make a difference.
